1) Multiscale mechanics of composite materials
Our research focuses on developing advanced multiscale simulation frameworks for polymer composites ranging from nanocomposites to fiber-reinforced polymers with particular emphasis on their multiphysics behavior. Recently, we have been advancing data-driven mechanics models that seamlessly integrate experimental data with simulations, enhanced by a broad spectrum of machine learning algorithms.
2) ML based materials exploration and development
Our lab explores and develops advanced materials using high-throughput molecular dynamics simulations, targeting diverse applications such as novel polymers and polymer composite materials.
3) Advanced molecular dynamics
We are developing advanced algorithms to overcome the limitations of conventional molecular dynamics and applying them to diverse topics such as composite mechanics, AI materials explorations and nanoscale processing simulations.
